What we do
Projects - One Stop Shop Read On - Write Away! (ROWA!) has been awarded funding from LSIS (Learning and Skills Improvement Service) to pilot a project offering parents the opportunity take a lifestyle MOT by taking part in a range of informative, interesting and enjoyable workshops. ROWA! ran the first pilot in the Staveley area in September and October 2010, and is currently working in Erewash, before moving onto Bolsover in March 2011. ROWA! is working with a range of partner organisations to deliver the programme of support to parents in these three areas, giving guidance, advice and encouragement to fulfil their aspirations - for themselves, their families and the community.
