Buddy Reading works in or out of the classroom - no additional resources required. Buddy Writing is an extension of the successful Buddy Reading project which aims to improve the writing skills of younger children involved, and also give the older buddies an insight into children's writing skills and experience of working with children. Programme 1 is aimed at either Yr12 students working with Yr6 children, or at volunteer adults/classroom assistants working with Yr5/6 children.
