Making Storysacks CD-rom

Storysacks give a parent/carer the confidence to enjoy books and reading together with their child. They are an invaluable way of encouraging children to have a life-long love of books and reading. Storysacks can also be used as a wonderful tool for supporting literacy skills in the classroom and have been shown to enrich language development.

However, producing a library of usable storysacks and developing the library system can put a great strain on the resources of most schools. Using volunteers is one answer to this. This CD-rom will not only show you how to set up a Storysacks Project with volunteers, but will also enable the volunteers to complete an OCN portfolio working at Entry level, Level 1 or Level 2.
