Where Can Reading Take You?

Where can reading take you?
To the past or into space,
the fields of the Dark Ages
or a trans-galactic race,
to the oldest living person
on the other side of earth,
or the first breath of a baby
at the moment of its birth.

What can reading show you?

Reading shows you exciting places,
And the way to fairy land.
It shows you interesting places
Where you can go and play in the sand.

It shows you scary forest,
Where creatures hide in trees
And bright and beautiful sunshine
Will you look with me please?
